HELLO CIVIL AND CONSTRUCTION STUDENTS!

The CPP ASCE Student Chapter is looking for the next Elected and Appointed Officer Board for the 2024-2025 school year! Becoming an officer is a great way to grow personally and professionally, expand your knowledge of ASCE, and create relationships that will last a lifetime. Below are the positions currently open for our Student Chapter.

Application, Questionnaire, and Resume
Completed applications with questionnaires and resumes are due in PDF format and are to be submitted via email to the CPP ASCE President, Katherine Wang, at president@cppasce.org. Please title your application and email subject line “ASCE Officer Application - FirstName LastName”.
Headshot & Biography
Those running for an elected position will be required to submit a headshot (JPEG or PNG) and biography (PDF), in addition to an Officer Application by March 22nd.
Nominations & Elections
Nominations for Elected Officer Board positions may be submitted via email with a completed application by March 22nd. Candidates will be allocated 2-3 minutes to present a speech in front of the general body at ASCE’s 12th General Meeting on Thursday, March 28th during U-Hour.
GPA Requirement
Candidates must maintain a minimum 2.5 term and cumulative GPA to be eligible to apply. GPAs will be verified by the ASCE Faculty Advisor, Dr. Simeng Li. Unofficial Transcripts should be emailed to Dr. Li at sli@cpp.edu as part of the application.
Membership Requirement
You must be an ASCE member to be eligible for any position on the Officer Board. If you are not currently a registered member and still want to apply, please contact our Membership Chair, Oscar Hernandez, at membership@cppasce.org. All dues and forms must be submitted before the application deadline.
Open Officer Meetings
If you want to find out more about what being a CPP ASCE Officer is all about, we will be hosting two open officer meetings on Tuesday, March 12th, and March 26th during U-Hour (Bldg 9 Rm 271 or Zoom ID: cppasce) for members to see how we plan for general meetings and events.
Please make sure to submit the application, questionnaire, resume, headshot*, and biography* by the listed dates above. All important dates can be found in the attached application. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted and will disqualify candidates from running.

Are you a First-Year Freshman or Transfer student and want to get more involved with ASCE? Complete the application below to apply for our First-Year Representative Position. This is a great way to improve your leadership, planning, and communication skills while getting involved with CPP ASCE.
